During the installation of the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top, I observed a crack that goes from the edge of the undermount sink to the adjacent slab, approximately 5 inches. The crack is clear through to the bottom of the slab. You can see this by looking at the edge on the sink cutout. The installer stated that it probably happened during fabrication, transport or installation. I told him to replace it and (http://maplered.com) he told me to pound salt. Am I right or wrong in asking to replace this? Is the Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top been compromised now that it's cracked. His contract states that he works to the highest stand (http://maplered.com) ards of the Marble Institute of America. Would they recommend me keeping it?
